Clean Coal Technology is burning the coal down and making it into energy. The problem with this is that they have to find a way to keep the chemicals and CO2 confined so that they don't get into the atmosphere.

It is the method of using coal as an energy source using methods that don't harm the environment. it was a mistake because they could have helped with the energy crisis as a backup plan.

Clean Coal Technology is the idea they have to make the use of coal more environmentally friendly. They do this buy taking minerals and impurities from the coal and removing the sulfur from the coal, and those are some of the ideas so coal has less of an impact of the environment.
Yes, I do believe it was a mistake for the Bush administration to cancel the grant promised to Illinois because they could have used the money to further the Clean Coal Technologies and ways to help make the coal better for the environment.

Clean coal technology is the idea to make the use of coal more environmentally freindly. This is done by taking minerals and impurities from the coal and removing sulfur from coal. This technology could be very usful to the energy problem because it will help preserve the environment and use alternative energy.

Clean Coal Technology is when we burn coal to make energy with near-to-none environmental effects. I think it was a problem that Bush cancelled it because it would probably would have helped the economic situation by not having to rely on foreign oil so much.

It is when you burn coal and make it into energy.
Yes, i think that it was a bad idea for Bush to cancel the grant to illinois because it really could have helped with energy prices in the future, or would ave always been an open option in the future.

clean coal technology is to enhance the effiency of and enviromental acceptiablity of the use of coal as energy. different methods are used to do this like chemically washing minerals from the coal, treating flue gases with steam to remove sulfur dioxide, and carbon capture and storage. yes i think that the bush administration should have given the grant, because it could have helped them further their abilities of clean coal technology.
