Use energy saving light bulbs, along with not having the lights on when not in the room, Carpooling and turn down thermostat while putting on an extra sweater.
You can overall just do things to save energy.Being less warm, get energy efficient supplies and don't use energy during the time when there is a high demand.
We need to get our energy under control by using less of it. Energy efficient washingmachines and air conditioners. Do things at certain times so there arent a high demand also.
*using less energy in our homes. *getting less energy efficent things *doing things when it's not at such a peak demand. ex: run the dish washer later in the night.
We can lower the heat in our homes and wear more cloths, buying energy saving light bulbs and making sure we turn off the lights when we aren't in the room.
Ed Rendell suggested to use energy efficent washingmachines and air conditioners. Using energy efficent light bulbs and carpooling are good ways too. CONSERVE IT!! Caitlin R
turning the lights off when were not in the room, turning our water temp. down, carpooling, turning down the thermstat and just put on a sweatshirt and some comfy sweats! :]
Instead of using your heater all day in the winter, just bundle up. Only use heating at night. Use energy saving bulbs and turn everything off when you leave your house.
In order to combat the extraordinary energy prices we are facing this winter and the winters to come we must use less energy. There are now products on the market that help save energy like light motion sensors and refrigerators in grocery stores that turn the lights on when people are around. Also, there is a brand for example called energy star with some great products that save big time on energy. Some of those products are Refrigerators, AC units, dehumidifiers, dishwashers, washers and dryers, battery chargers,Air filters, furnaces,Insulation, and much more. We can turn the lights out in rooms we are not in, turn water off when not using it, turn the thermostat down, turn electronics off like computers when there not being used, when its daylight try and keep your lights out. Get a ride with multiple people and take turns driving to work to save gas money. When doing laundry user a lower water level try washing in cold water, have larger loads at a time instead of a bunch of little ones, and to dry clothes hang them outside or on a door frame if you can hang stuff outside. There are so many ways to conserve energy. The most important thing to remember is if you don't want to pay the high bill on energy then don't use so much of it cut back.
The issue with energy saving light bulbs is that they are often more expensive than normal light bulbs. But it needs to get through to the people that the extra cost is worth it in the end.
The biggest thing is, the government needs to find a way (maybe through the media) to convince the people of PA and the US to go for all of this "green" stuff.
Carpooling can save gas money and energy while reducing the amount of carbon emissions and pollution.
We could car-pool, also turn down the heat during the winter. Use energy saving light bulbs, and turn OFF the lights when you aren't in the room, etc. In your house you can turn down the thermostat and put on heavier clothing like a sweater.
there are a whole bunch of ways to save money in your energy bill...
-put on layers instead of turning up the heat -use energy efficient light bulbs -don't use appliances during peak hours -turn off the lights when not in a room -unplug small appliances
I first hand have experience with all the saving energy area. Our house uses the swirly energy saving lightbulbs. If the sun is out we most likely use the windows as light. My computer monitors are turned off if they're not being used. Also when I don't want them to be destroyed I turn them off. We also try not to turn on the heat as much as possible. We have 2 blankets in all the rooms. Our family also washes clothes at night instead of the peak afternoon times.

not using a lot of energy you can carpool and turn down your heat and put on extra clothes

We need to use less energy, we can do that by saving light bulbs, carpooling, and try to save heat.

We can turn off lights when we aren't using them we can turn down the thermostat and use energy saving things

You could help by turning the lights off, turning down the temperature and wear more clothes, and carpooling.

use less energy
use power saving techniques like using less energy or use energy saving light bulbs
we could just use less energy, and keep it under control.
You can turn your heating down just a few degrees and you will see a large drop in your energy bill
down with Mccain!!!
yeah Mccain is just like president bush

If we can use common sense and use less energy by using florecent compact lightbulbs, using less fuel by driving less or car pooling,
energy saving light bulbs is a good way to save energy. also, do thing that arent in such high demand at one time.

We could car pool, draft-proof windows, make sure we get power efficent light bulbs as well as turn off lights, and put on extra layers of clothes.
To save energy we can carpool, wear extra clothing to prevent having the heat of full blast, and using energy efficent light bulbs.

There are a couple ways:
Use energy saving lightbulbs
turn down the thermostats
turn off lights when you are not using them
