Yes but not all wind energy so that wind does not become the only source of energy we need.
It should be. We wouldn't have to use nuclear power plants and save money. 'Cause wind is FREE!!!

Wind power is already an option for PA, we are already using wind power. In Humboldt Industrial Park, Green Mountain Wind Farm, & Somerset Wind Power Project.

yes, because we need more energy, and we need it cheap, so it is a very resourcfull option because its free.
on one side it would be good because we wouldnt have to pay for power but then on the other hand we would need enough wind to keep the fans going when PA doesnt get all that much wind

Yes, wind power is most definitely an option and should be used in PA.
This would be a great help in providing energy with out creating a bunch of pollution or other toxic things into the environment. Especially where we are living we could really use that wind power and it gets windy enough for it to work. The reason i said where we are living is because look around were surrounded by nuclear power plants one mishap and were dead. Therefore I think some of those nuclear power plants should go bye bye, but the way our world today is so dependent or wanting more and more energy it's most likely not gonna happen. Another thing id like to say is to John McCain who wants to build more nuclear power plants. I read this last night when looking up stuff for that paper on energy that he wants to have created 45 new nuclear power plants by 2030 and an ultimate goal of 100. I honestly think that is crazy because they say "oh it's zero emission" well maybe but what happens when one blows up... radiation and lost lives maybe even areas that will have to be uninhabited do to the radiation. That is no good. Nuclear is no good if you ask me its dangerous.We should take the elements to our advantage by water and wind power ,so there are not such dangerous outcomes if something should go wrong.

yes there are breezes in this state, the wind doesn't stop when it gets to Pennsylvanias border so it would be reasonable to us wind power since we have wind

yes, wind energy could be an option for PA. some schools in the state are already using wind turbines to help provide their energy. i do believe that it would help, but we can't just rely on wind energy we need other resources.

It could be because it is very inexpensive, but a big downfall of it is that it all depends on the weather, if there is no wind to turn the turbine, the energy won't be produced. And another complaint is that wind turbines are obnoxiously loud, at all hours.

It is an option because it is for the most part free renewable and is not land or water intensive. The down fall is that the wind energy is loud and that there most constantly be wind.

Wind power is an option in Pennsylvania. It's clean, cheap, renewable. Powerful wind isn't even needed, as it works on winds of 6 miles per hour and can give electricty to many.

Wind energy could be a viable source of energy. There are lots of hills and valleys, and regions like that are perfect for installing windmills. However, while wind power is very efficient, it should not be the only source of power. Solar power can work well for certain household items such as swimming pool heaters.
Wind power could be a viable source for Pennsylvania. It does not take a lot of wind pressure to work it either. Plus it would save a lot of money.
